Clayton Cheung, founder of Big Bang Music Ltd., was born to a family of filmmakers in November 1970, Cheung has been passionate about arts since his early age.

Cheung graduated from the University of Hawaii in Journalism in 1992. During his career, Cheung has won various music awards. Being a semi-finalist in the Commercial Radio Song writing Contest in 1994, it paved his way into the industry. Subsequently, Cheung formed the folk rock band Black Box, and the group was awarded Music Best New Group silver prize at the Commercial Radio Awards in 1995, and Bronze Prize in 1996.
